The Imam (p) looked at him \u2014 and in that moment, his words cut through centuries of cultural arrogance, \u201cBe silent! The Lord is One. The mother is one. The father is one. And reward is based on deeds.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The room fell quiet.
