IMAM GROUP was established in 1981 as a shipping agency and ship chartering house. Gradually the Enterprise entered into various other businesses. The group is owned by Capt. Imam Anwar Hossain and other members of his family.

At present, Imam Group has several business activities such as ship owning, shipping agency and ship chartering, cement industries, lubricating business, nanking/leasing, insurance, resort, education etc.

Imam Group is also involved in other business activities like Import and Export of various commodities, consultancy and etc.
